During her floral design studies, she represented the Netherlands twice at international competitions for vocational education. She achieved top 10 rankings at both the World Skills in Dubai and the Euro Skills in Budapest. She distinguished herself by creating her own robust structures and surfaces, shaping them in a playful, natural way. In addition to these competitions, she also represented the Netherlands at the Eurofleurs in Slovenia, where she achieved a fantastic 6th place.

Through the combination of work, competitions, and a huge passion for floral art, Esther strives to continuously improve her skills, knowledge, and technique. She enjoys sharing these skills with students and colleagues through guest lectures, masterclasses, and workshops. With her spontaneous and positive attitude, she conveys this effectively, and people enjoy working with her.

Esther also has a new challenge ahead of her. She will organize the student competition of the Dutch Skills Competitions. These competitions give young students the opportunity to reach their full potential. A young woman to look out for.
