Karen Lindsay

Karen, the visionary behind Flowers by Karen, has cultivated far more than just beautiful arrangements since establishing her retail florist in Kilmarnock on the West Coast of Scotland in 2002.

Her relentless pursuit of excellence has transformed the business from a local favourite into a nationally recognised powerhouse. This dedication is perhaps best defined by an unprecedented run of success, culminating in her being crowned UK Retail Florist of the Year not once, but three times—in 2019, 2024, and 2025. This triple triumph speaks volumes about her sustained innovation and dominance in the industry.

Karen’s success is most definitely linked to her personal philosophy: she loves a challenge and believes in grabbing every opportunity with both hands. It is this powerful combination of creative passion and entrepreneurial drive that continues to position Flowers by Karen at the very pinnacle of British floristry.

Nowadays, she find herself increasingly doing demonstrations, working on installations and teaching.
