Aire Reenumägi
Aire Reenumägi says her story is like almost like Cinderella – a difficult start and beautiful today!
Aire’s first day at a flower shop was 20 years ago. It was a lucky day, she had dreamed of it for as long as she can remember. She says “I did not have money to study the speciality so I had to learn myself day after day.” Time flew by and after a few years she started her own Company ‘Pulmalill OÜ’ with her sister who is also her best friend, assistant and business partner. Today their Company is 10 years old and every year they design about 30-35 weddings. “Oh and how we love it!” “I also help my friends in their flower shop a few days a month, decorate other big events and if my clients need birthday bundle or arrangement for funerals I help them with love.”
Five years ago she decided to make her dreams come true. She finally went to school and graduated! Her next dream was to compete!
“I met Ivan Bergh in 2015 when he did Christmas demo in Estonia! We became friends and he invited me to compete in Italy. Lets GO … 2015 Arteflorando competition in Italy.” She competed in the Estonian Florist Cup, the Helsinki Open and in the Arteflorando competition taking 1st place! Victory!!!
This year she will again take part in the Helsinki Open and an International Competition in Latvia.
In February 2017, we demonstrated with Ivan in Estonia. It was her first time on stage – very special experience for her.
With Ivan Bergh’s floral school team, she together with her sister took part in Fleuramour. It was amazing experience and great, great event!
“IPM was also amazing and I admired this way how the Floral Fundamentals family supported each other, shared the backstage and stage together with Tina Kjaer – it was more than I dreamed.”
“We were chosen by the Estonian Florists Organisation board last spring and from the beginning of this year I am President of our organisation.
I live in the countryside in a house in the middle of nature. I love natural materials and flowers from my own garden. I love simplicity and classical style.
Because of weddings I use lot of pastel colours and flowers. We organise courses and workshops, we try to do everything to make floristry more popular in Estonia and to introduce us to Europe. I represent Estonia in Florint and organise the Estonian Florist Cup.”
