Jake Nicholson-Lailey

Jake Nicholson-Lailey started his floristry career with a telling off! He had placed an arrangement on the Church organ and had to move it, but was asked to join the flower rota…and a star was born!

Jake completed his Higher Diploma in Floristry after an HND in Business & Management and opened Abundiflora in the heart of Somerset in England. He specialises in English-style floristry for day-to-day clients, but can turn his hand to most styles, and loves to learn new techniques and concepts. He has had his shop for over seven years and has attracted a great number of loyal customers.

Jake charmed everyone and Floral Fundamentals with his genuine delight in meeting the growers and seeing the effort that goes into achieving the standards that they do.  His kind heart and dedication to his customers prove that he is someone on the right track. Without doubt, Jake is someone to watch as he and his business continue to grow.
