Thomas Spiess

Thomas Spiess is based in Zurich, Switzerland. In 2003 he started his education as gardener and specialised in indoor greening. After he graduated, he continued his education and also became a florist. He took the opportunity to lead a flower shop as store manager at the age of 21 and after a few years he decided to study Interior Design to get a deeper understanding of his own creativity.

In 2014 he started teaching floristry at the largest adult education school of Switzerland. He passed the training as a teacher in Switzerland, the Master in Dutch Floral Design at Boerma Instituut in the Netherlands, and also the European Master Certification by Tomas De Bruyne and Hitomi Gilliam in Belgium, contemporaneous!

His goal is to boost florists all around the world, with his work as a teacher and he fights for collaboration in the industry.
He loves the challenge of thinking out of the box, but in a commercial way…
