After many years of working for another company, Pieter Damen and his partner took the brave step of becoming a professional and passionate grower and so far the results have been amazing.
The company specialises in growing a range of Scabiosa, Hosta, Helenium, Aster and Alchemilla because they want to focus on niche markets.

The main flower variety they grow is Scabiosa. This stylish flower is available in six varieties.

These varieties are:
Scabiosa caucasica Staefa
Scabiosa caucasica Annabelle
Scabiosa caucasica Alice Blue
Scabiosa caucasica Davida
Scabiosa caucasica Hanneke
Scabiosa caucasica Isabelle
Five of these varieties are available through breeding by Pieter himself.

The company has been in existence since 1995. In 2009 they took on another challenge in setting up Annemieke’s Pluktuin (Picking garden), where they give you the opportunity to select and pick flowers for your own bouquet. Once again, they timed it right and their market is growing.
