Connecting, inspiration and above all working with the most beautiful flowers, that is what Floral Fundamentals stands for.

A perfect match with exporter Hamifleurs as well as wholesaler and exporter Waterdrinker Plants & Flowers, who both focus on wholesalers and florists in Europe. Floral Fundamentals is therefore pleased to announce that Hamifleurs and Waterdrinker Plants & Flowers have joined as partners within the family.

Floral Fundamentals connects Dutch growers, suppliers and florists worldwide and publishes a free digital magazine four times a year. A total of 150 international designers, 45 Dutch growers and 10 suppliers are working on this project. “Floral Fundamentals is a great platform that connects the top florists worldwide,” said founder Allison Bradley. “With our new partners, we are strengthening our network, especially in Europe, and they can use the best inspiration from our top florists.”
Hamifleurs is one of the largest flower exporters in the Netherlands and focuses on importing wholesalers and their customers, florists and arrangers of events and weddings. This target group requires a certain quality of flowers to distinguish itself from the retailers. “Many growers we already actively work with are affiliated with Floral Fundamentals,” says Loes Klop, marketing manager at Hamifleurs. “In addition, it is very interesting for us to know what is going on among florists so that we can respond to this with our assortment and the inspiration we offer to our customers.”

Waterdrinker Plants & Flowers has been a major player in the international floriculture market for more than 40 years and distinguishes itself with the most special flowers and plants. Extra special is that the flowers are delivered directly from the grower to the florist. “Thanks to this unique construction, we are guaranteed to provide florists with the freshest flowers,” says Joost ter Laare, executive with final responsibility for Waterdrinker Flowers. “We are also convinced that working together pays off, it makes all parties stronger and creates new opportunities! In this way we hope to be able to use the knowledge and experiences of florists to inform and inspire growers and vice versa.”

On September 22, Board member, Jolanda van der Lugt on behalf of Floral Fundamentals, Loes Klop, on behalf of Hamifleurs and Joost ter Laare, on behalf of Waterdrinker Plants & Flowers signed the cooperation agreement at Lugt Lisianthus, one of the growers affiliated to Floral Fundamentals. A good start of the collaboration.
